三、主講人（Speaker）：Martin Weisser
Martin Weisser obtained his MA in English Linguistics, English Literature, and Galloroman Philology from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany, in 1994, and his PhD in English Linguistics in 2001. In 2010, he completed his professorial thesis (habilitation) at the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
His main interests are in the corpus-based analysis of English, with a special emphasis on pragmatics, as well as most other aspects of spoken and written language, including the creation of web-based teaching materials for teaching linguistics.
四、講座內(nèi)容（Abstract）：
This final part of the 'trilogy' on how to write journal articles will predominantly deal with the main part of the article, the Findings/Results, the Discussion, and the Conclusion sections, as well as look into some basic issues concerning referencing. Further issues to discuss concern the presentation of the findings, including appropriate use of tables and graphics, and some relevant pointers regarding the use of appropriate tenses, hedging, and stance in your interpretation of the material under discussion.
